New Creation has been a safe place where people can believe, belong and become new. New Creation is a community of compassion and comfort. It is our mission to join Jesus in his work of transformation.

When New Creation was launched in 2010, our mission was to be a place where people could belong. We wanted to be a welcoming church that was committed to building community. We were dedicated to creating an atmosphere of openness and honesty where folks could wrestle with what they believe. We knew that as we all grew in our understanding of God’s grace (his love and favor freely given) that people would become new. Over time, it was clear that we needed to be a safe place where old wounds could be addressed and hearts healed by the kindness of God. New Creation became a refuge for those who were hurting, lonely and struggling in one way or another (which is all of us, really.) Our willingness to talk about weakness and weariness was a blessing to many. We were and are willing to dig into the relational, emotional, mental and spiritual brokenness that we all encounter in everyday life. We’ve seen individuals restored, families rescued and a church family of brothers and sisters being renewed. So many good things have happened in and through New Creation. We’ve also been through some hard times. Our congregation has gone through an extended period of suffering and grief. At some point in 2015, New Creation entered a season of sorrow and loss. We enjoyed plenty of good moments because God is good. We learned that God is still good even when the circumstances are not so enjoyable. God helped the people of New Creation become more compassionate and has equipped this church to comfort others well. We are a church that is grateful…we know how to celebrate God’s grace…we are also a community that knows how to walk alongside those who may be mourning or just trying to make their way through the everyday difficulties of life.
